about serial cities

serial cities is kind of a two-fold project: on the one hand it is an attempt at a new kind of personal travel journal, and on the other a research project that seeks to amass a visual database of some of the aspects of urban form that contribute to the identity and experience of a city.

jennifer cosgrove is an architect based in los angeles whose interests span architecture, landscape, urban design, product design, art, and public space.
